I’ve now finished my world tour and am back in the UK. It’s fabulous to see my family and friends again even if adjusting to the English winter is a bit of a challenge . . . thank you so much to everyone for reading the blog and for all your comments, it’s meant a lot to know that you’ve been following all my adventures! See you all soon xx
I’m flying off tomorrow for my next adventure: a round-the-world tour stopping off in America, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and India. I’ll be catching up with lots of friends and family along the way as well as exploring places that I’ve always dreamt of seeing – so excited!
First stop is Boston, Massachusetts for a week hanging out with my friend Daniel.
I’ll be adding words and pictures to my blog as I go, so do keep reading and posting comments.
The photos below are of the waterfall at Siby, a little town we visited last weekend on our first excursion out of Bamako. I had a lovely swim under the waterfall – much needed after a very hot and bone-shaking Landrover trip from Siby itself. Lots of bumps and jumps and lots of bruises sustained all round. However, it was all worth the wait when we jumped in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall – cool water and tiny fishes nibbling at our feet!
